Much of the work of the church is accomplished through the efforts and dedication of the Ministry Teams. Each team consists of members and friends of the church under the leadership and direction of the elected elders. The specific teams and a short explanation of responsibilities are described below. There is a place for everyone who desires to share time and talents and participate in the good work of the church. |

Administration and Finance |

The Administration and Finance team develops the operating and building fund budgets in consultation with other ministry teams, provides for an annual audit, assesses insurance needs, creates policies regarding memorial gifts, and oversees the counting, recording and depositing of church offerings. This group supports the church Financial Administrator. The Administration and Finance team is also responsible for general administrative support to the church, office equipment, and the administration of requests for the use of church facilities by external groups and activities.

The Personnel Ministry (PM) Team is responsible for the employment and evaluation of non-ordained staff. The PM Team will consult with other appropriate ministry teams on such matters. The PM Team will maintain current job descriptions, meet with each staff member semi-annually, conduct separate annual performance evaluations for both ordained and non-ordained staff, facilitate healthy staff relationships, assist the Head of Staff foster a professional and productive work environment, appropriately recognize milestones reached by the members of the staff and perform all functions designated in the MPC Personnel Policies. The PM Team will prepare an annual Personnel budget, subject to approval by Session.

A safe and pleasant church facility is an important part of a church's worship experience and community outreach. The Property and Maintenance team is responsible for the maintenance and management of the church buildings, grounds, utilities and equipment. The team recruits groups of volunteers to assist in mowing the lawn, maintaining the grounds, general building upkeep and maintenance as well as snow removal. The team oversees custodial services, contracted services for building maintenance, and equipment repair and replacement.

The mission of the Stewardship team is: Expressing our faithfulness through Stewardship and showing our thankfulness by dedication our time, talent and treasure to achieve God's work in our Church, in the Community and in the World.
The goals are:
- Create and maintain a Time and Talent database to better support MPC's community.
- Increase the number of pledges returned to 90% of MPC's family giving units.
- Create and run a successful Stewardship campaign and Fall pledge drive.
- Educate the congregation on Time - Talent - Treasury and the cost to MPC.
- Distribute Offering Envelopes.
