MPC is proud to be one of a group of churches and concerned individuals that established SERVE Inc., a community based organization dedicated to Securing Emergency Resources through Volunteer Efforts. SERVE is a full service agency with a mission to serve the local community through comprehensive programs and partnerships that provide basic needs and promote economic independence for homeless and underprivileged individuals and families.

Manassas Presbyterian Church designates the first Sunday of each month as "Manna Sunday." Every "Manna Sunday" members of the congregation and friends of the church fill a grocery basket with canned and boxed food products. SERVE in turn distributes these food donations to hungry people, families and children. In addition to additional financial assistance, MPC has established the Doris Topping Compassion Fund which is supported by special offerings throughout the year. Doris, a long time member of Manassas Presbyterian Church, was a founding member of SERVE.
