Auxiliary Missions of Manassas Presbyterian Church – these are mission efforts that are organized by groups other than the mission ministry team:

Stephen Ministry – A ministry which equips lay persons to provide distinctively Christian one-to-one care to those in our congregation who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances. Stephen Ministers are committed Christians who receive 60 hours of initial training in caring ministry skills and concepts; who visit another person regularly and dependably and offer support and care; who participate in regular support and supervision; and who receive continuing education and skill building throughout their years of service.

Early Learning Center - The Early Learning Center (ELC) is a valued ministry of Manassas Presbyterian Church (MPC). In ELC programs, each child is viewed as an individual person with needs that are unique to him/her. Children are enrolled from ages 2½ through pre-kindergarten.

BEACON – BEACON, which is supported through our mission budget, is independent of the church. MPC provides classrooms and several members volunteer as instructors. BEACON is a non-profit organization based in Bristow, Virginia, that helps individuals to build English literacy skills to improve their lives and help their communities.

Prayer Shawl Ministry - The Loving Hands Prayer Shawl Ministry is a group of MPC members and friends who gather to create knitted or crocheted shawls as gifts to those who have suffered a loss, are struggling with health or other issues, or are celebrating such events as marriages and baptisms. The Prayer Shawl Ministry also provides knitted or crocheted hats, scarves, and gloves to local schools, shelters, and the prison.

Blood Drives – twice a year, the MPC Board of Deacons organizes members of the congregation to donate blood to help local blood banks.

Care Packages – The MPC Board of Deacons sends care packages to all of our students pursuing college degrees as they prepare for final exams each semester.

Souper Bowl of Caring  - On Super Bowl Sunday, the MPC youth sponsor the Souper Bowl of Caring to collect donations for the SERVE shelter, encouraging canned soup donations from members in support of their favorite team in that year’s NFL championship game.

Women Helping Women – The Presbyterian Women’s circles organize members to provide feminine toiletries for the residents of SERVE
